10/1 - Day 3 - 30 minutes character dialogue part 1
10/2 - Day 4 - 30 minutes - character
10/3 - Day 5 - 30 minutes - dialogue part 2
10/4 - Day 6 - 30 minutes - create the characters saying the in formation
10/5 - 30 minutes - put it all together
10/6 - 30 minutes go over it 
10/7 - 10 minutes fix bad things
10/8 - 10 minutes play it myself
10/9 - decide if its bad and then reflection 
10/10 - that's all(:

Design Brief
10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it. I'm going to make a video explaining the design cycle. i chose this one cause it was the easiest for me. I'm doing this for the sixth graders.

11. What are the requirements for this assignment? The requirements for this project is to teach the six graders the design cycle.
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment? i don't even know the design cycle so its going to be difficult for me to teach them.
13. How will you "test" your presentation? I'll get a fifth grader or some little kid to see if they get my video.

INVESTAGATION REFELECTION

I give myself a 3-4 because i wasn't all that good with putting all my ideas or information into paragraphs like they were to small. i didn't know what to write bout either like i knew what i wanted to write but i guess i didn't know how to explain it. in the end i thought i did a pretty good job. i fixed it and made the paragraphs longer and i wrote a lot ha ha c: well the amount i thought was a lot.(: i identified the problem but not right away its later on in the paragraph i don't know why but yeah. so i guess thats a thumbs up for me. and i used all my ideas so thats also good.(: so yeah!<3

Goanitmate (:

  Music -this helps the sixth grader by helping them concentrate. Usually people listen to music when they are working to help them stimulate their mind in doing their work . Also it helps them by having fun while doing their work. They can be singing and stuff while there doing there work. I like to listen to music while I'm doing my work because i feel like chill and not overwhelmed by anything. i feel more concentrated in my homework or whatever I'm working on at the time. i like listening to Lil Wayne haha(: his cool;p I also think the six graders would love to be listening to music while there working. WHO DOESN'T LIKE MUSIC?? haa(; So that's a bonus for them.
  Fonts- I give fonts a 5 because like its really cool that you can be switching the fonts when ever you want its pretty pimp. (: Like its also fun and  i think you would get a good grades for being creative or whatever. I like putting different kinds of fonts and changing the color of the words to PURPLE!!;D or any other color. But it should be acceptable to the teachers though. Usually they make us use the ugly dull fonts:l. So sometimes you can change your fonts, but other times you wont be able to. I don't know why they make us the weird looking fonts but i guess thats ok. It would be better if they let us do whatever fonts we would like to show our expressions while writing our paper etc. 
  Characters- I gave a 3 because yes they will be talking and all that good stuff, but i personally don't think its all cool or anything haha i think there pretty weird. They will be talking to each other bout the design cycle and how it works for the six graders. I'm trying to make them be specific so it will be a little easier to understand what they are trying to explain, but other then that its pretty good but i still rate it a 3. I really don't think they will be fascinated by this little clip but I'm hoping they will, because i want them to understand what the design cycle is so they can be successful. I can also get a good grade.
 Simplicity- I gave a 2 because i don't think this project is easy i was never good in tech i don't know why it just isn't the thing i like to do. Like yes face book butt not all teach and stuff it just weird to me not fun at all. Plus i don't even know a lot bout the design cycle and now i have to teach it to a six grader when i don't even know what it is. I honestly don't think this is easy, I'm doing this video on go animate its like some weird voices talking and there just standing there talking, but i have to tell them what to say so its kinda hard since i don't know what the design cycle is about. So its going to be hard for me to teach them the design cycle so i need like a lot of work to be done or just to ask people. but i hope I'm successful in the end because, i want to help the six graders and i cant if i don't try or anything.
  
Simplicity- i gave a 2 because, Comic master is not easy its really hard. well for me if i choose this one it would take more then two weeks to finish. Comic master is this little activity that you ca  create your  own like sayings as in like oh my god what happened something like that. like superman comic books yeah like that. Its just all weird to like you have to be really creative to do this. I'm not the creative type that's why i chose Goantimate not this one. no offence to comic master. So yes this is very hard not easy. i wouldn't want to do this, plus yes i know maybe the sixth graders think that comic books are like awesome and stuff but it really isn't. If we asked a six grader to do this i don't think they would be able to do it. Not to be rude or anything i cant even do it so yeah.
Fonts-  i rate a 2 There OK like i don't think you can have specific fonts, they look weird to me not like wow that's awesome. Its just oh okay fonts. It really isn't a like good tool or anything for this activity. This one just doesn't seem cool to me or nothing its just there. Like you can have different kinds of fonts on Goantimate more then like two theres a lot of other fonts. i just think Goantimate is better but that's my opinion. So i rate this one a 2 not a really big fan of this font type so yeah.
Music- I rate this one a 3 because when you do comic books you have to have the music to go with it. Like you cant have like Lil Wayne singing when a superman is flying i just think that's pretty weird like who does that that just seems pretty dumb. You have to have a specific song like dun dun dun or something like that a superman song or something, but i don't think the sixth graders are going to like that cause they listen to 104 and stuff so why would they like songs with no words in it? So no the music wouldn't really be a good idea for this. you probably be all con fused because the characters would be saying something then Nicki Minaj comes out out of nowhere so its uh okay.
Characters- I rate a 1 because there really isn't any good characters like i think its pretty useless all of this cause you can do something better then what they give you. theses characters are like not weird something else but i don't know what really like its hard to explain because i really don't have anything to say is that i wouldn't use the characters they give us. I wouldnt use any of it the tools suck. Also the characters arent useful to me like i would make my own characters if i had the choice. But i don't so might as well not use any of it right.? I really don't like how all of this works.

I decided to do a video for my design cycle. On goanimate.com its really cool i'm going to explain what the the design cycle is and all that good stuff. Its going to be a neat video and i'm more then positive the six graders will learn the design cycle after watching my video.

design cycle-unit 1

1. What is the problem you need to solve? Explain to a 6th grader what the design cycle is all about by creating a presentation. (3d, PPT, movie, game, Poster)
2. How does the Design Cycle apply to the real world? A lot of people use the design cycle in daily life. Like building a building.
